What is Tack?

Tack works alongside you in the web apps you already use. It gets to know the routine parts of your work and offers to handle them for you as shortcuts, and it leaves the decisions to you.

How do I install it?

1. Open the Chrome Web Store and search for "Tack: Giving you time back".
2. Click Add to Chrome.
3. Pin it to your toolbar with the puzzle piece icon.
4. Click the Tack icon to open the side panel, and sign in.

How do I sign in?

Choose Continue with Google, or choose Email me a code and type the six-digit code we send you. There is no password to remember.

What does Tack read?

Nothing until you sign in and choose Agree and start. After that it reads the pages you work in: what is on them, what you type into them, the requests they make and their addresses. Password and other credential fields are removed before anything leaves your browser. Tack does not take screenshots, record your keystrokes or read your browser history.

Who can see my data?

It is kept in your own Tack account and is never sold or used for ads. Our models read it to find work Tack can do for you. No one at Certifyde reads it unless you ask us to, for example to help with a problem, or for security, or where the law requires it. Raw page captures are deleted after thirty days. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Will Tack do anything without asking me?

No. Before any step that sends, writes or changes something, Tack shows you exactly what it will do and waits for your approval.

What is a shortcut?

A routine task Tack has seen you do, written as plain steps you can read and change. Turn one on from the Shortcuts tab when it fits your work, or choose Not useful and Tack stops suggesting it.

How do I connect or disconnect an app?

Tack suggests apps that fit what you do. Open the Apps tab to connect one through that app's own sign-in, or to Disconnect it at any time.

How much does it cost?

Free for fourteen days, no card needed. $19 a month after that. Manage or cancel your subscription from the gear icon in the panel. Nothing you have is deleted when you cancel.

How do I stop Tack or delete my account?

Open the gear icon in the panel. Sign out stops Tack reading anything. Delete account removes your account and the data in it.

Which browsers are supported?

Google Chrome, version 116 or later, on a computer.
